This Accessibility Statement applies to the website published under activelaw.de by activelaw Offenhausen.Wolter PartmbB.
We strive to make our online presence as accessible as possible. In doing so, we align with the relevant legal requirements, in particular:
the German Ordinance on Barrier-Free Information Technology (Barrierefreie-Informationstechnik-Verordnung – BITV 2.0),
the German Accessibility Enhancement Act (Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz – BFSG),
Directive (EU) 2016/2102 on the accessibility of the websites and mobile applications of public sector bodies, and
the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).
Our website is largely accessible. Most of the requirements of the aforementioned standards have already been implemented. Certain areas are still under review and will be further improved in due course.
Measures already implemented include, among others:
Logical structuring of content (headings, semantics)
Alternative text for images
Keyboard navigation via the Tab key
Sufficient colour contrast
Option to increase text size (Windows: “Ctrl” + “+”, macOS: “cmd” + “+”)
Option to decrease text size (Windows: “Ctrl” + “–”, macOS: “cmd” + “–”)
Responsive design (optimized display on various devices)
Compatibility with assistive technologies (e.g. screen readers)
The following functions and content are currently not fully accessible:
No correction suggestions for incorrect form inputs
Dropdown menus in the main navigation (“Firm” and “Legal Services”) cannot currently be opened without a mouse
Alternative Access:
Under the “Firm” menu item, you will find the pages About Us, Team, and News. These can be accessed from any page via the footer under the “Firm” section.
Under the “Legal Services” menu item, you will find the links For Businesses and For Individuals. These can also be accessed by visiting the Legal Services overview page, where all advisory areas – for both businesses and private clients – are listed together.
